Projector Calibration in South Africa

Bring your projector and screen into the calibration process with an on-site visit from iDetic. We provide residential and commercial projector calibration throughout South Africa. Residential calibration starts at R6,000 excluding VAT and travel.

Calibrated in your viewing environment

The projector, screen and room work together to produce the image you see. We review the basic setup and assess colour, greyscale and tonal response using measurement equipment. Adjustments depend on the projector's controls, performance and intended use.

What happens during a visit?

Allow around four hours for a typical residential visit. The service includes basic setup review and correction, SDR calibration, HDR calibration, and before-and-after reports. Share the projector model and screen details so we can confirm compatibility and scope before quoting.

Experience across projector systems

From an entry-level Optoma in a media room to a Barco Nerthus in a private cinema, Charl has calibrated projectors across a wide range of systems and settings. Each calibration is tailored to the projector, screen and viewing environment.
